Soft Life in Anguilla

Terms & Conditions

May 16–23, 2027 | Anguilla
Effective September 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions in their entirety before submitting your deposit or any additional payment for Soft Life in Anguilla.

Soft Life in Anguilla is a private gathering created exclusively for women who have previously participated in a retreat experience with Tina C. Hines. It is not a public retreat, tour or travel package.

If you have questions regarding these terms, please contact tch@tinachines.com before submitting payment.

Cancellations & Refunds

A significant amount of advance planning and financial commitment is required to create Soft Life in Anguilla. Accommodations, hosted experiences, transportation and other arrangements may require deposits, advance payments or financial commitments well before our arrival.

For this reason, all payments made toward Soft Life in Anguilla are non-refundable, including the $500 deposit, installment payments and final payments.

This policy applies if a participant cancels or is unable to attend for personal, medical, family, employment, travel or other circumstances.

Because unexpected situations can occur, travel insurance is required for all participants.

Why Are Payments Non-Refundable?

Your participation influences the financial commitments made for the gathering.

Payments may be used to secure accommodations, transportation, dining experiences, facilitators, activities and other arrangements. Many of these expenses are paid or committed in advance and may not be recoverable if an individual participant later cancels.

The non-refundable payment policy allows these commitments to be made on behalf of the group without transferring the financial responsibility for an individual cancellation to the organizer or the remaining participants.

Travel Insurance

All participants are required to purchase travel insurance.

Unexpected circumstances can affect even the best-planned trip. Participants should obtain coverage appropriate for their individual circumstances and the total amount they have invested in their travel.

Depending upon the policy selected, travel insurance may provide protection for certain covered circumstances involving trip cancellation or interruption, medical emergencies, severe weather, transportation disruptions and other unexpected events.

Travel insurance policies vary considerably. Each participant is responsible for researching, selecting and understanding their own coverage, including exclusions, coverage limits and deadlines for purchasing insurance.

Insurance offered through an airline may cover only certain airline-related expenses and may not protect the other costs associated with your participation.

Tina C. Hines does not provide travel insurance and cannot guarantee that an insurance provider will approve a particular claim.

Non-Transferable Participation

Participation in Soft Life in Anguilla is non-transferable.

This gathering has been created specifically for women who have previously participated in one of Tina C. Hines' retreat experiences. A reservation may not be sold, gifted, assigned or transferred to another person.

If you are unable to attend, your payments cannot be applied to another participant, another event, a future offering or another service.

Payment Schedule

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your participation.

Villa Experience

The Villa Experience includes one private, single-occupancy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in the shared villa.

Remaining payments are made according to the payment schedule provided at registration, with the final balance due April 15, 2027.

Island Experience

Participants choosing the Island Experience arrange and pay for their own accommodations and local transportation.

The final balance for the Island Experience is due February 15, 2027.

Failure to make payments according to the agreed payment schedule may result in cancellation of your participation. Payments previously made will remain subject to this non-refundable policy.

Travel & Personal Expenses

Unless specifically identified as included in your selected Soft Life in Anguilla experience, you are responsible for your own:

  • Airfare

  • Travel insurance

  • Passport and travel documentation

  • Ferry transportation and applicable departure fees or taxes

  • Meals outside of hosted experiences

  • Personal activities and excursions

  • Massages or spa services

  • Personal purchases and incidental expenses

Island Experience participants are also responsible for their accommodations and transportation while in Anguilla.

Changes to the Experience

Soft Life in Anguilla has been thoughtfully planned, but circumstances may occasionally require changes.

Restaurants, activities, facilitators, transportation arrangements, schedules or other components of the gathering may be modified because of availability, weather, operational considerations or other circumstances.

When reasonably possible, an appropriate alternative may be substituted.

Changes to individual components of the gathering do not constitute cancellation of the entire gathering and do not automatically create eligibility for a refund.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Events outside anyone's reasonable control can affect international travel and planned gatherings.

These may include severe weather or hurricanes, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, civil emergencies, transportation interruptions, airline disruptions, closure or unavailability of accommodations or venues, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control.

If circumstances beyond our control require Soft Life in Anguilla to be changed, interrupted, postponed or canceled, refunds will be determined based upon funds that can actually be recovered from the applicable accommodations, vendors and service providers.

Funds that have already been paid or committed and cannot be recovered cannot be refunded.

Participants are responsible for seeking reimbursement for their individual travel expenses through their travel insurance provider when applicable.

Cancellation by Tina C. Hines

If Tina C. Hines makes the decision to cancel Soft Life in Anguilla in its entirety for reasons within her control, participants will be notified directly.

Refunds will be provided for the portion of payments associated with the hosted Soft Life in Anguilla experience that can be returned.

Tina C. Hines is not responsible for independently purchased airfare, travel insurance, accommodations booked by Island Experience participants, transportation or other personal travel expenses.

If cancellation results from circumstances beyond the organizer's control, the provisions in the Circumstances Beyond Our Control section above will apply.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute through a bank, credit card company or payment provider does not alter the Terms & Conditions agreed to when payment was made.

If a payment dispute is initiated, documentation related to the reservation, payment history, applicable Terms & Conditions and communications regarding the transaction may be provided to the financial institution or payment provider reviewing the dispute.

Initiating a chargeback may also be treated as cancellation of participation, subject to the cancellation and refund terms stated above.

Personal Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for determining whether international travel and participation in activities during Soft Life in Anguilla are appropriate for her individual circumstances.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, travel documents and decisions regarding optional activities, excursions, transportation and experiences undertaken during their stay.
